A new partnership has been formed between the IES-Incubator and Accelerator (IES-INCA), Singapore’s deep tech incubator for entrepreneurial engineers, and the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), the national voice for Singapore’s start-up ecosystem, via a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on 21 October 2022.
With the formation of a deep tech venture sub-committee comprising industry representatives from The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), IES-INCA and ACE, the partnership aims to facilitate conversations and feedback to policy makers and stakeholders to boost growth in the deep tech sector.
Er. Chong Kee Sen, Chairman of Board of Directors, IES-INCA said at the signing ceremony that this partnership will drive more ‘technopreneurial’ activities on the educational, networking and ecosystem fronts to attract greater interest and investments to the sector.
James Tan, ACE Chairman, added, “We will help the deep tech start-ups in their commercialisation efforts to scale up and expand into the regional markets.” —Construction+ Online
