Channel NewsAsia presents LOOKING AHEAD documentary

Channel NewsAsia’s special two-part series, LOOKING AHEAD will air on 7 and 14 February at: 8pm (SIN/KL/MNL) / 7pm (BKK/JKT) / 5.30pm (DEL).

Several mega infrastructure projects are underway in Singapore that will position our nation for the future. What are the issues that these projects address? What are the challenges faced by each? And what are the innovations we can expect? This two-part series looks at the mega projects that have been undertaken to address those questions.

The first one-hour episode on 7 February looks at how Changi Airport Terminal 5 (T5) at Changi East and Tuas Mega Port will ensure that Singapore stay relevant in this fast-changing world, while the second episode on 14 February highlights steps that have been taken to ensure that liveability remains high and how it will all come together in the Jurong Lake District. Sustainability is also being addressed in two interlinked projects—the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) and phase two of the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS).
