LTA and MyHSR To Hold Industry Briefing For Kuala Lumpur-Singapore HSR

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Malaysia’s MyHSR Corporation announced in a joint statement that they will be conducting an industry briefing on 5 July 2017 for firms that are keen on participating in the tender for the assets company (AssetsCo) of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project. It will finance, design, build and maintain all rolling stock and rail assets such as tracks, power, signalling and telecommunications.

The briefing will serve as a platform for LTA and MyHSR to share key features, tender parameters and technical specifications, as well as provide opportunities for dialogue between the two agencies and the industry.

The tender is expected to be called by the end of 2017 and the 350-kilometre HSR is slated to be completed by the end of 2026. — Construction+ Online
