The Greens was inspired by the greenery in the park and country club nearby, with the trees providing the concept of verticality for the interior design. This project emerged as a new landmark, while creating a new social standing in terms of luxury living in the neighbourhood.
Both local and imported materials were used in this project to ensure quality, while still keeping the costs within the budget. Natural materials and palette were used in this high-end residential development to create a sense of comfort and tranquillity, such as using the green forest marble to highlight the recreation floor against the chevron-patterned veneer, giving a touch of playful sophistication.
Vertical white screens were arranged in a playful zigzag pattern in the ground floor’s waiting lounge to mimic tree trunk silhouettes. The lift lobby used the warm and rich tone of bronze and sturdy black against the calming beige marble and an artwork that depicts nature to elevate the sense of luxurious comfort.
The Sunset Cabana space is an intimate area like an extension of the living room for the residents. It is further accentuated by the oversized lantern that was created to anchor the space in a transparent glass box. The warm golden hue palette, chevron pattern and oversized furniture provides a sense of luxury cosiness. The oversized lantern structure helps to light up and provide an anchor to the various glass pavilions of the recreation floor without compromising the overall scheme, which remains clean and subtle.
