Vietnam has seen extraordinary levels of industrialisation on its rural outskirts, owing to foreign investment and the rapid development of the residential property. In general, by 2015, the national master plan prioritised the key economic regions and large urban areas as they served as a dominant growth pole at the national level. Up to 2025, the focus will be on preventing sprawling and dispersed development of the urbanised areas, which is necessary before the urban network can be built and strengthened from 2026 onwards.
Developments such as SwanCity aim to support the national master plan, promote efficient and effective city governance, and enhance city development and management capacity. Situated right outside Ho Chi Minh City, the area could provide decent housing with basic infrastructure, accessible transportation to the city centre and closeness to nature.
CONNECTIVITY
The project is located in the centre of vital economic regions—Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Vung Tau—and is a hub for Vietnam’s economic activities in the south. Therefore, the site is equipped with a network of land transport infrastructure. It is also close to Long Thanh international airport. In the near future, a marina will be built near the area and citizens will be able to travel by boat to the nearby cities.
