Inspired by the concept of Ikebana, the Japanese art of floral arrangement, the landscape consultants designed Maya Parks by these two principles: a fresh approach and harmony with nature. Therefore, the community was involved in envisioning the park’s potential because they may provide a new user perspective. After a participatory engagement was held, the consensus was to turn the pond into a recreational park that doubles up as a habitat for the local flora and fauna.
Connected to Maya Park is Ardence Labs, which is both a commercial and business centre. The rejuvenation of the retail areas seeks to provide a better lifestyle experience and to enhance the community’s social life. To provide opportunities for like-minded people to meet and broaden their perspectives, a cultural centre was set up to host curated events throughout the year.
