UMW Sells 140 Acres of Industrial Land at UMW High Value Manufacturing Park

UMW Development, a wholly owned subsidiary of the UMW Group, signed a RM304.92 million sale and purchase agreement with LONGI (Kuching) for the sale of 140 acres of land at the UMW High Value Manufacturing Park (“UMW HVM Park”) in Serendah, Selangor, on 30 August 2022.

The 861-acre green-rated UMW HVM Park is equipped with Industry 4.0 infrastructure and technologies. It also integrates sustainability into its design, embedding environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solutions.

Eric Chew, Group Director of UMW Development, said that about 84 per cent of land in the Southern Zone of the park has been taken up, with 40 companies committed to setting up their manufacturing operations at the park. UMW Development is ready to support their automation requirements by working closely with the UMW Group to provide necessary products, services and solutions.

UMW HVM Park is also home to UMW Aerospace—Malaysia’s first Tier 1 fan case supplier to Rolls-Royce. —Construction+ Online
