Two of Atkins’ projects were under the spotlight at the Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards (ILAM MLAA) 2019 on 30 May.
Under the professional category, its “Integrated Golf Resort Master Plan” in the Philippines won the ILAM MLAA Honour Award of “Landscape Analysis and Study Award”, while the “Landmark 81” won the ILAM MLAA Honour award of “Landscape Design Awards”.
The awards, organised by the Institute of Landscape Architecture Malaysia (ILAM) and endorsed by the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), celebrate landscape architecture industry excellence and honour the best in landscape architecture from various aspects of the industry.
“These awards are a tremendous recognition to our studio’s capability in creating and master planning unique and large-scale spaces throughout the region,” said Christian Dierckxsens, Atkins’ Senior Associate Director for Landscape in Asia Pacific.
The studio also scooped the Silver Award in the Landscape Planning & Master Planning category of the HKILA Landscape Award 2018 with its Gamuda Cove masterplan project. — Construction+ Online
