This project includes a host of new multi-faceted learning facilities for the British International School Kuala Lumpur (BISKL), spread over two levels of the built-to-suit solution.
The new facilities include a main library, a café and kitchen, science laboratories, general classrooms, sixth form common rooms, art and music classrooms, practice rooms, computer design rooms, a drama studio and an 850-square-metre gym. Management contractor ISG Malaysia worked with the school in developing the brief, procuring the consultants, and working with the developer to shape the building.
As part of its project delivery strategy, the partition enclosures were constructed within the existing space to fast track statutory approvals and the overall completion of the project within a period of five months. — Construction+ Online
