The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) held a series of seminars from 4 May to 23 June 2016 to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Trading Fund (EMSTF). With the theme of building retro-commissioning, Assistant Energy Services Manager Franco Mok was among the keynote speakers who highlighted ATAL’s HVAC control optimisation solutions for participants.

The control optimisation solution mentioned in the seminar enables the optimal setpoints (temperatures, water flow etc.) to be automatically determined based on multiple environmental parameters and energy considerations.
