Themed Unite Green Building Powers, Fight for Carbon Neutrality by 2050, this year’s Hong Kong Green Building Week—an annual mega campaign promoting green buildings—features a series of physical and online activities set for 23 to 29 September 2023. The people-oriented programmes revolve around four pillars: Health and Well-being; Resource Efficiency; Environmental Friendliness; and Innovative Elements to foster daily practices of a low-carbon lifestyle.

The Hong Kong Green Building Week will kick off with a ceremony at the atrium of Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon Cultural District, where a presentation will be held simultaneously to celebrate the winning works of the campaign’s video competition launched in June 2023.

The highlights of the seven-day experiential event include Green Building Game Tour as well as Green Building Power Station, both of which will enable the public to explore eight key green buildings—AIRSIDE; West Kowloon Cultural District; San Wai Sewage Treatment Works; InnoCell at Hong Kong Science Park; Central Market; Cityplaza; Metroplaza; and Langham Place—through guided tours, workshops and interactive games.
