Spotlight on Security at Dahua Solution Day

On average, there were 33 reported cases of burglary and shoplifting in Hong Kong per day in 2015. With the sharp increase in crime rate, the public is now paying greater attention to security. To address this alarming trend and stress the importance of security systems, Dahua Technology held a security technology seminar named ‘Dahua Solution Day 2016’ on 30 September at The Mira Hong Kong.

A group of solution providers, systems integrators, security consultants, IT experts and users gathered at the event and discussed the recent developments in ‘intelligent buildings’, with an emphasis on the importance of automation, centralisation and comprehensiveness of a modern building’s security. Dahua Technology also demonstrated its integrated security solutions, covering surveillance and access control, as well as home products, which can be easily applied in mixed-use buildings. Other topics presented and discussed in the event were the latest HDCVI 3.0 and H.265 technologies; effective ways to utilise IP video surveillance and manage CMS in complex systems; securing the entire flow of people and vehicles; and upcoming technology trends and innovations.
