On 20 May 2016, AP Rentals Holdings Limited, a leading equipment rentalrelated solution provider in Hong Kong, introduced the first boom lift with the world’s tallest reach. The boom lift was unveiled during a product launch at Central Harbourfront Event Space, Hong Kong.

The boom lift has a vertical reach up to approximately 185 feet (about 20 storeys) and a horizontal outreach of 80 feet. The axles take approximately one minute to extend or retract, so that operators can move telescoping jobs more accurately and provide a more convenient operation platform for high reach workers. Currently, there are only two units of this model in Hong Kong.

AP Rentals is dedicated to provide a wider selection of equipment for the industry. Besides the boom lift, there were also two new types of equipment exhibited at the event: an all-terrain crane that can operate under poor weather conditions and a mini-spider crane that boasts unrivalled lifting power. It can be used in different settings such as shopping malls, warehouses, factories and airports, therefore simplifying labour-intensive lifting operations and reducing risk of injury.
