The construction of Shah Alam International Logistics Hub, set to be the country’s first green-certified logistics hub, is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of this year. Located on a 71-acre site in Shah Alam, it will also be among the largest facilities of its kind in the ASEAN region. Besides incorporating low-carbon building materials, the project is designed with sustainable elements covering water fittings; lighting; elevators; air-cooling systems and solar panels.
Upon completion of phase one in 2025, the development will comprise a four-storey warehouse complex; a four-storey parking facility; a one-storey office; and ancillary buildings. —Construction+ Online
